Walnut and Cherry Dresser

I built this dresser for my son, and luckily got it finished only a couple weeks before he was born. The design is based off of another project I saw on LJ which I believe is based off of a design from the Wood Whisperer. The dresser is made of walnut and cherry with maple drawers.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice, I like the combination. He is a lucky boy!

Love the color combo as well as design

double thumbs up!

My first major project was a dresser. Needless to say it didn’t turn out that great. But I’ve always loved making dressers since…

Stellar results. Congrats on the birth of your son. Clear finish on both the cherry and the walnut ?

I really like that. I am thinking it would look nice in miniature on top of my Low Boy dresser in Cherry about the same color as your Walnut is. Nice work.

At some point it will look much different with the Cherry darkening, and the Walnut maybe getting lighter. By then he may be old enough to be capable in the woodshop, and if he doesn’t like it….......

Congrats x 2.

Yes, it is only a clear finish (Arm-R-Seal).
