We designed, built and installed this entertainment center for a client recently. This sequence of photos illustrates what I love about designing, building and installing cabinetry. It is very gratifying when all the puzzle pieces come together. The installation phase took five hours start to finish. The cabinet is made of cherry with an antiqued distressed finish. There is wire access throughout for the various components. LED light strips are in the upper display areas and behind the TV area. The lower center cabinet has a fabric cover for a concealed speaker. All cabinets allow ventilation for AV equipment. Black granite is still to be installed on a few surfaces.

Very impressive. It’s size impresses upon me. Well done.

Man what a wall unit! Like the video showing not only the sections you had built, but the installation process as well. Great work!

That is a stunning piece. The time-lapse of the installation was a great idea.

Thanks Daniel,
I hope to capture a “lived in shot” once the homeowner has made it their own and the AV guys are finished.
The cabinet design will make more sense when you see the rest of the AV fixins.
THere are to be 2 rather large free-standing speakers sitting in front of our cabinetry.
I incorporated (nero assolutto) granite tops, as opposed to wood tops, to help break up the ocean of cherry and to add some additional color and surface texture. I prefer some diversity when you have such a large area to fill.
Thanks for your interest.
