Sorry Guys this isnt a wood working project but I had to put the word out for those of you that have been in search of a jointer, It started when I got home from work and noticed that one of the creative kids in my neighborhood decided to make a modern day sculpture out of my mailbox so a trip to Home Depot to pick up a new mailbox turned into installing a new mailbox plus putting together this jointer. I noticed on Saturday that they had them discounted from $386.00 to $257.00 I was going to buy it then but something told me not too and during my trip tonight I decided to go and admire the jointer once again and I couldnt believe my eyes dicounted to $107.00 I first grabbed one of the employees to verify the price before I loaded up the HEAVY box (216LB) and the tag was right. sorry for the late post but it was like Christmas morning when I got home had to put it together and run some wood through it works nice very solid. Anyways those that have been in the market for a Jointer I would be at your local HD in the morning and see if they have discounted there inventory as well, good luck and I hope its not just a Tampa, Florida deal. FYI it would help if you have a friend around for a couple of the Heavy parts.

Thanks. I checked 5 HDs in Houston. Full price on all of them. Hell they still have the 14” band saws for $369.

I have this jointer and it is a beauty. Heavy yes. If you put it on wheels, build a wooden frame for underneath the legs. Anyway… it’s a good machine.

I have this jointer, and mine has performed flawlessly, you will not be dissapointed. The quality of craftsman ship plus the lifetime warranty, alone are worth it, but at that price you stole it!!!.......now don’t you feel guilty
about bragging about that price to the rest of us who already have one???
Seriously though, ridigd power tools are some of the most well respected tools on this site for a reason.

I bought the same jointer a while back when it went on clearance. Not as good a deal as yours, but it works great, so we both win!
