The door is book-matched and cross laminated African Walnut, It was a turning blank but I re-sawed it. The outside of the box is Rosewood burl veneer and the drawer fronts are another turning blank re-sawed.

I really like the elegant design and fantastic craftsmanship done here. The selection of woods are very stunning too. Very nicely done. Can we see open door photos too?

This is a beautiful project. I really love the tree overlay. It makes it so unique and interesting. Great job!

Thanks for all the great comments. Just uploaded some pics of drawers, I didn’t mention this but the carcass and inside of the drawers are walnut.
