My wife has been asking me to build her this hallway table that I designed for several months now, and as all male woodworkers know, you have to keep the wife happy with this hobby. So after three days of work, here it is.
It built it from 3/4” Red Oak and stained it with Red Oak. Drawers were built quite simple since they won’t get very heavy use. They simply fit in the compartment and slide on the rails you can see in the fourth picture. The handles have an etched vine on them so to try and bring it all together the center panel between the drawers has a vine type design cut from 1/4” walnut on the scrollsaw.
My wife is extremely happy with the table as am I. Comments are welcome!
