Well being a professional chef building butcher block boards would be a perfect fit. After building my first one (checker pattern) and seeing all the interest in them I built more. I am in love with building them. It is something about them that is just relaxing plus the money is not to bad either. The wonderful thing about woodworking is I am learning each time I put things together. Enjoy! By the way the boards are built with Purple Heart and Maple.
