My foray into discovering woodworking began with this simple upcycle project. Having found myself with a plethora of cieling fan blades (for reasons not worth mentioning), and a patio table minus its glass top, AND constantly seeing user posts of simplistic projects on miscellaneous social media…. I said, “I can do that” and so, I did it. (smile) I’ve come a long way since this simple table.

I sanded the blades, drilled appropriate holes, and used miscellaneous screw that I had on hand to attach the blades to 2×4s which I attached to the table base. I used latex paint and sealed it with lacquer. The little Texas flags were shower curtain hooks.
