This little splay legged table is a great project for the intermediate woodworker. It is a blank canvas that can be dressed up in almost any fashion, from no decorative details to even more complex inlay than I put on this particular table. It is made of air-dried, quartersawn cherry, curly maple, with holly, stone, and ebony accents. The legs taper on all four sides from top to bottom and also splay outward 3 degrees.
