Hi all,

I made knives for each of my daughters for Christmas which I have already posted and had a small bit timber left over from each project so thought I would complete them with a single knife block each in the same timber as the scales.

First pics are the Gidgee one, I inserted rare earth magnets into the side so the children would have trouble getting the knife out if they ever get the urge to climb up to where it is kept. I would hope they wouldn’t but it is a bit of extra security.

Pics 3 and 4 are of the figured Blue Gum block and 5 is the knife that goes in this block.

They are both pretty individual.

Happy New Year to all
