Yes it is summer Down Under and with summer come the obligatory flys buzzing around and making a nuisance of themselves.
Not many at the moment but they may just warming up for an assault.
I saw these guns on line and decided they would make good Christmas presents, made 4 of them.
I used scrap masonite, perfect for the job because it is strong and lacks grain.
Here’s a link to the plans I copied.

I think your gonna need a bigger gun. Cool idea for those pesty critters… I like it and will consider making one. Let me know if you come up with a long range rifle model.

Thanks for sharing Grumpy, now we can hunt those blasted blow flies that get as big as birds down here in Victoria. Exaggerating a bit but they are a menace.

Nice Gun Grumpy! You could always “Paste” them to the wall with one of these.

NO. I didn’t make one.

Nice work, Grumpy. I bet you drive the flies crazy so I imagine it’s quite useful in the shop.

It works, got my first fly today. First shot as well. John Wayne would be impressed.
.

Thanks for looking Jocks. We might just reduce the fly population with a few of these.
.
I have one of these as well, very effective for wide angle shots as well, hard to miss, LOL.

Neat guns, Tony. I was at a craft show and I bought a rubber band Gatling gun made from plastic. It can be loaded with about 50 rubber bands and shoots them in a few seconds.

cheers, Jim
