My first picture frame. Made of maple with two different color stains. Loosely copied from a design on Woodsmith Shop. Picture is a canvas print of a photo we took on a trip to Italy. Looks like a real painting.

Thank You. For me tight miters are the hardest part. I started with the main cove cut pieces, trimming the miters by hand with a block plane. Top looks great, bottom is terrible. For the smaller trim pieces (light colored) I built a shooting board. Worked much better.
