While this seems to keep growing and never deemed complete, I am calling it quits for a while. The stairs are a roll-out door to bike storage.
It is almost entirely “reclaimed” wood; only some of the ply on the facings and decks is bought.

Wow! What a giant project to tackle! That sure cuts down on how much grass you have to mow. Looks like an excellent way to keep the kids busy.

yeah, the walnut and oak trunks and rope swing in the front are like a billboard.
-yep, i never had grass anyway, now it looks like there is a reason besides dogs & neglect!
Y’all can relate -i’d rather do woodwork (even repair) than do yardwork!

Cool, Looks fun! Kids down the street have great Skateboard ramps. I went down there and showed them some good jump and tricks. All went well, till I crashed and burned and one of them said,” Mr. you OK? Your pretty good for an old guy.” I went home bleeding and my feelings hurt. When did I become old? LOL

Nice work.

Man! If I had that as a kid, I would have surely killed myself on a bike! Great job.

awesome, a friend of mine’s little brother built a ramp like this and wound up hosting some of the worlds top bmx’rs and even had some of those extreme games videos shot in his back yard. Good luck, keep some bandages handy, lol

Awesome cool project!
I used to ride when I was younger a friend had half pipes, quarter pipes and rails to grind on but not like this.
His parents had to take it all down due to a kid gettin` hurt and thier home insurance did not like it at all.

Everything I ever wanted as a kid. I hope my kids give me an excuse to build something like that although I doubt my wife would let me!

my mom says, every time she visits, “I would HATE to be your neighbor!” The three surrounding say it doesn’t bother them -or the powertools till 3am. -i think they must all have really loud air systems or sleep-aid i.v. drips.
-We do have a couple of local sponsored riders who come by & sometimes bring folks from out of town even -i can’t get this to work that well; one of the riders posted it on his facebook.

-it is fun. -i do worry about the lawsuits though -think i should print up some paperwork forreal though!
