I have read on a few site’s that a lidded jar/cup is a great challenge so I decided to try my hand. It was actually very simple.

Simple eh… if you say so I suppose.
It looks great, I like how the grain lines up between the lid and jar. Welcome to LJ’s.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome.
It was actually very simple. I used veneer calipers to get a nice snug fit of the lid and jar. Also using the banjo and the standard parting tool as my gouge, I was able to get a clean cut full depth. I find the parting tool works well as a very multi-purpose tool if you can achieve a sharp edge on all sides up to the end of the ∆.
