Maple & Padauk with Kingwood box, inspired by David Freedman.
Had some figured maple with a stain on it that just could not be thrown away. It was quite a bit under the correct thickness by the time I got all the stain sanded away. Brass pin hinges.

Nice loking box. I like how the legs are highest point on the box. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice. I bet it looks even better when displayed somewhere other than on concrete stairs :)
