A rush job for Christmas for my 4-year-old granddaughter. I’ve probably got 10-12 hours in it. The primary material is wire-brushed prefinished engineered flooring. The pattern blocks were left over from a couple big projects a few years ago. There are lots of screwups, so don’t look too closely BUT IT IS DONE ON TIME!

Looks to me like the box is the treasure. A 4 year old will not notice the screw-ups but will fill it with memories and treasure it for years to come. Thanks for posting and Merry Christmas.

That patterning is real cool!

I got a chuckle out of your second photo. The black glove and camera angle makes it look like a burglar had a head camera and was riffling through your house looking for jewelry (and found none!).

She won’t notice any screwups, she will just remember grandpa made it for her, good job.

I see no problems. Just a beautiful and unique box!
