im in the process of rebuilding my workshop properly, trying to work 1 week a month on the shop.
these cabinets are another 1 week project, the carcass is 18mm mdf screwed and biscuited together.
the fronts are pine faceframes finished with light oak finish, biscuited together. this project was my excuse for buying a Bosch biscuit jointer. for assembling the base it wasn’t verry usefull with biscuits, but for attaching and assembling the faceframe it was invaluable.
the top is white melamine finished with a oak edge.
the cabinets consist of 3 nearly identical parts, two with drawers and doors wich are mirrored to themselves. and the middle one wich serves to store my vacuum underneath and to keep all sorts of tools at hand that i need on the current projects.
they are all 122 cm long, the same as the width of mdf sheets, so there was hardly any loss.
in between the cabinets where there is a pile of toolboxes will come my router table wich i haven’t built yet.
