It only took me 3 years to build this but i had a triple bypass and galbladder surgery while i built it. So i guess time wise i did ok.

Wow that is a really nice bedroom suite. Nice workmanship. I’m sure your next project will go alot quicker without the surgeries.

Great job especially with the interruptions. Actually, 3 years is a short time for a project like this for me. What is the finish that you used? I like the way it came out.

I used 2 coats of Watco Walnut Danish Oil and 5 coats of wipe on poly. Also the bed corner post are reclaimed floor joist from a house built in 1850 and they are quartesawn post oak

These are one of my favorite styles of furniture.
Great job, love the grain, also nice save with the reclaimed boards.
