These three carvings are meant to be just one sculpture with three parts – three women having a good conversation – and being ‘good company’ for one another.
The pieces are each around 12”x 3” – made from clear white pine and finished with dry pigment and walnut oil.
Working with wood has always been the best medicine for me – I think it must be so for all the people who post on the forum here. Another case of ‘good company’.

I LOVE the simplicity and balanced lines. Great design and execution. I think these are very marketable too.

How did you shape the wood? This is pretty awesome for whittling by hand.
