I rarely post my boxes here anymore. After a while they all start to look alike.

I was playing around the last few days trying to create something that didn’t look like the others I have previously created. I fear getting stagnant in my designs because creativity is what keeps me motivated and excited.

This is something a little different I came up with. My absolute favorite work is done when carving and sculpting… but with this box I just took a step in reverse and let the router table and table saw do most of the work.

Great job. Always good to look for new designs.

As Jim Carey said IN MASK ”I LIKE IT!”

It’s still your design and execution.

Love the design, looks like the Chrysler Building in Wood. But I have to ask: How does it open? Almost looks like it could slide open instead of hinges. Thanks for posting and Merry Christmas.

Thank yall’ ... I most definitely appreciate the input...this was interesting to make and it started the design wheels turning for another with a bit of variati0n.
This one opens from the bottom with a removable panel held in by screws. I made it to be a urn for ashes.
