I have been thinking about this cabinet for over 5 years. I used recycled Clear Vertical Grain Fir from an old school cabinet that was on it’s way to the dump before I snagged it. The knobs for the doors and drawers are turned (of course) from Brazilian Cherry.

Nice tool cabinet, very good dovetails.
Is there a slight mismatch in drawer timber colours?

Sweet cabinet! I also love the first picture. The black and white with the dove tail joinery … Too cool!

That would make a great desk top image….

Thank you for all of the nice comments. Yes Wheathills, the drawer fronts are from two different boards. I didn’t have one board long enough to make both drawer fronts from one piece. I tried to match as best as I could.
