Aspen/Eucalyptus Coffee Table

The top is 8/4 Eucalyptus with aspen log legs. The bottom shelf is mortise and tenon into the aspen legs. The bottom shelf is barnwood, peruvian walnut, lacewood, spalted birch and black walnut.

The top is inlaid with peruvian walnut, barnwood, lacewood, black walnut and spalted birch. Willows are inset into the corners, I seem to have a love affair with barnwood and willows. Skirting is barnwood and peruvian walnut. I did the edge of the table with a grinder pad. Really sick of the same old style router edges, takes a while to sand but worth the time.

This piece was sold to the assistant producer of the survivor show and will eventually find it’s way to French Polynesia (Tahiti).

Great work! I really like the rustic look of the legs offset with the inlay work. Looks like a great amount of love went into this creation. Impressive job!

A lot of sweat in that table, hope you got a good price for it! Welcome to LJ’s.
