The missus came out to the shop and wanted to put together a cutting board for one of her newest friends. She made board selection, ran the jointer, did the glue-up, and helped me run it through the drum sander. All I did was offer up some guidance, routed the edges, and some powered hand sanding.
We finished it all up with our usual, Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner, a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil.
We are both quite pleased with her board selection and how the figuring in the woods showed up!
I think she really enjoyed herself, I have a feeling she’ll be out in the shop doing some more of this before too long!

Good choice of timber and looks like very clean joints.
