Locking box

So this is a locking box out of mahogany and hard maple. To open it the bottom dovetail has a pin in it the only slides one way the has a cut out in it so the opposite side of the lid can lift off. All sliding parts a dovetails and finished in a thinned poly for the first coat and then johnsons paste floor wax for the rest of the coats. I figure it would be since their are 4 sliding parts. Every year I make a box to put Christmas gifts in and this one will go to my sister in law.
Feel free to ask questions the blemish in the top was a flake that the ros caught and chipped out. But it worked out as it points in the direction that the slider needs to slide to open the box. Thanks for looking.

Sharp looking puzzle box, DL. Do you put the instructions inside the closed box (just joking).

I have to put something in it even though the wifey said that the box is worth more then the $25 gift limit.

And thanks Michael.
