Sliding Bench leg

My new Tigerwood workbench needed ONE MORE accessory to make it complete. That would be a sliding bench leg.

So often I needed to hold something in the vise that needed support from the side. Voila! A bench leg, with holes for bench dogs.

Made of maple, this leg slides on an upside-down “V” of wood on the bottom, the top being a tenon that slides in a mortice under the edge of the bench.
