My large Makita plunge router did not come with a router guide. Purchasing one would set me back $160 Canadian and take weeks to arrive. So, being retired with ample time for neat projects, I decided to build on myself.

I used 1” square tube and 1/2” diameter rod and some baltic birch plywood for the job.

As you can see, the results were worth the effort.
