Here’s a Federal period (ca. 1810 or thereabouts) game table I just completed. Basic side table with my own design elements, including the veneer, inlay, and the folding leaves. There’s a slide show on my website showing the steps involved, if anyone is interested….http://www.LineAndBerry.com. Click on the game table image at the bottom of the home page to go another page with more info and the slide show. This link might work (not sure)...http://www.lineandberry.com/-6-federal-game-table.html

Here are some of the features…..

Folding leaves with knife hinges
Continuous wrap-around cross bandings of Curly maple & Macassar Ebony
Hand-made inlay
4-way book matched burl walnut leaves
Holly stringing on legs and case
Cuff banded, ebonized feet
Cock-beaded drawer with walnut burl front
Felt lined drawer
Sheraton pulls

Thanks for looking.
Hope it’s a blessed Advent and Christmas season for everyone.
I know this can also be a tough time for many of us,

—Bill

Very nice work. The veneers are show stoppers!

Just…woah. Really, I’m speechless looking at this, which I think is an appropriate response to such a work of art.
