This is my third demilune table. Time to do something else. This one does not open up to a full circle table like the first two, but it does have a drawer.
I discovered a crack in the top before finishing, so I put a couple of pocket screws across the crack. We’ll see how that works out. This table has my first set of hand cut dovetails, at least the first set that went beyond the wastebasket!
I aimed for a much darker finish on this table. I wanted a typical furniture store mahogany finish which is practically opaque. Two types of wood dye and several coats of tinted polyurethane seemed to do the trick.

Nice Work Bob, I wounder how many people would have pointed out a mishap and the fix, no one would have known, just another day in the life in a woodshop, great recovery!
