Bench from reclaimed wood

We had some old wood in our garage that seemed very old. There were some 10×8’s that were true 10×8” and some true 4×4’s. I milled them down and planed down some of the old finish trying to leave some of the old patina.
I incorporate mortice and tenons and pocket joinery to assemble the bench.
My cat seemed to like the way the newly sanded wood felt.

That is a hefty looking bench. You have given it a nice style.
