This is one of two nightstands I made, (part of a 6 piece bedroom set) I built for my wife & I. I used ash as the main wood of choice for its nice grain patters and ability to stand up to the vacuum cleaner and other household hazzards that are just dying to put a dent into furniture.

Beleive it or not, we got the design from Bobs Discount Furniture. We both liked the design, but wern’t too happy with the quality so I decided to build the set ourselves. After some photographs and simple measuring, I was ready to draw up some plans for eache piece. The entire 6 piece set took about a month to build and finish, and we were both extreamly happy with the results.

Very nice piece of furniture. I’ll bet it is built a whole lot better than you can buy at Bob’s Discount furniture and you’ll appreciate it more because you made it your self!!!!
