I wanted to make a Christmas gift for my mother in law and my wife suggested she loves to quilt. I thought this design with purpleheart, maple and cherry turned out nice and has a quilt-like pattern.

Wow! This cutting board is absolutely beautiful and I love the pattern and wood used on this piece.

Very nice! I’ve been thinking of ways to incorporate quilt patterns into wood for a while now, hadn’t gotten past the thinking stage though. Nice design. Well done.
