Josh – do you have any tips for us who have never made a pen?
Mike: sorry about your head. You keep changing your picture- I never know who I’m talking to :) And a beautiful picture it is :)

Well done Josh. There is an Aussie who has made 30,00+ pens and I bet he can remember his first one.

Looks great. I remember the first one that I made. Of course I chose to make it out of bamboo ply and had to sand the whole darn thing and I only took a couple of hours, but I still have and use that pencil. So have fun with these Josh.

Kerux, good for you. Must be an awful lot of fun having your son out in the shop with you. Josh, you are amazing – 11 years old and turning on the lathe already – good for you! The pen looks great – bet your Mom will be proud to give it to a co-worker and tell them that her son made it.

Way to go on a great pen. I have the same lathe and love it. Great work! Your Mom is going to want one for herself, soon!
