I didn’t build the cabinet, just the insert to hold the bottles. A fairly quick “honey-do” that will undoubtedly cost more money since now we have some obligation to fill the spaces.
It’s all 1/2”AC ply, with madrone trim on the front face. At this point I have finally used up almost all of the madrone that I have. I generally prefer not to work with plywood, but for this project it seems to make better sense. If I was building the entire cabinet, I would’ve opted differently.
In picture #2, I am in the process of trying to get the spacing right. Easy enough to measure out but since I am a visually oriented person, I need to see the spaces to know whether I need to shift my lines to make the compartments smaller or larger. This is quite a departure from the original plan on paper!!
