The previous door (mid twentieth century) was half rotten, and had no style.

Wow
What a very unique door, great job. The woodworkers amongst us are curious how much did the door weigh and what type of hinges were used and with the door being that massive I figure the screws (or bolts) must go deep within the door frame to support the door. I would love to see some assembly and installation photos.

Wow Phillippe! Tres belle porte! (desole, j’ai un clavier englais, alors j’arrive pas a faire mes accents) J’ai prix un programme de menuiserie cette annee, puis j’dois dire que ca me fais du plaisir de voir que c’est encore possible de faire des portes comme ca. Je reconnais beaucoup de chose que j’ai apris dans tes photos de tes portes. J’espere moi aussi un jours etre capable de utiliser mes skills dans des projets comme ca.
Je vien de regarder ton site web, puis j’addore tes projets. Tes escaliers son merveilleux! tu m’inspire a continuer de chercher du travaille haute gamme! Merci beaucoup!
