I had the good fortune to able to spend a day with Alan Lacer a few months back. Though Alan is widely known for his mastery of the skew, he also is a terrific box turner. These little end-grain boxes were all turned using the methods he teaches.

Two of them are maple, two are apple, and the rest are cherry. They are from 3 to 4 inches in height and about 2-3/4 inches in diameter. The lids are all snug fit and ‘pop’ when opened.

You did a swell job Gerry. If you were to sell those I usually sell them for $30 unless it is a exotic and will charge $5 to $10 more and depending on the size also and those prices I gave were for 3×6 boxes.

I am looking forward to seeing more buddy. :)
