hi fellow LJ lt has Been a while since i have posted a new project my laptop was broking was fixed then was lost no one was taking responsibility for losing it but after fighting for a few months with the company that i bought it from they where the one that was responsible for repairing it in the first place but it is all ok now the company give me a new one and a apologise so back in action now have been Farley Bessy in the work shop have made about 20 new projects but have no pictures of them yet just took a few of this bowl in a hurry because i sold it as soon as it was finished someone came to see my daughter liked it and give me 150 euro for it good money but bad photos
the bowl is 7 inch tall and 14 inch wide its made out of beach purple heart and ebony and ash finished with finishing oil with 7 coats. please give me any of your comments and thought good or bad is very appreciated.

Branch, Nice design and very nice execution. I’ve never done a segmented bowl but I hope to this year. Only thing I might ponder would be an extremely thin(1/128” maybe) Ash strip between the Purpleheart & Ebony. It still looks good like it is though.

Branch..it’s very difficult to get the feature ring of this design to line up all the way around ..good work and a very nice project.

I really like this bowl. I like the simplicity of it but overall it is very stricking. Many times a segmented bowl is overly complicated.
