Something I’m going to need to help with a current project I’m working on, probably many other uses too. This Moxon vise is made from the Benchcrafted hardware and I milled up some red oak I had in the shop. No special designs, i used the plans from Benchcrafted website and adjusted the size for my needs. Slap a coat of Danish oil on it along with some paste wax on the hardware and called it done.

Functional and great-looking. Well done!

Very nice work. I just built one with a couple of press screws and some red oak 2x’s. Works well, but very heavy.lol

Yes, no doubt this thing is built tough and heavy, which I guess is a good thing for stability

Never seen one made of Oak, looks nice.. Jameel made a very nice product with that hardware, you will enjoy it. Makes for a very functional accessory for anything you want raised up to work on.
