I was having some fun on the lathe, and made a few different bottle openers to practice. Purpleheart, Padauk, and Marblewood. I ended up making another one out of maple similar to the Marblewood one, but didn’t get a picture of that one. The padauk handle opener was the first one I made, and it’s on my lathe (the only one made on the treadle lathe, then I bought the pieces to finish rebuilding my powered lathe). Lighter for scale.

Great job. My favourite is the bottle. Where did you get the metal parts from Mos?

Andy, the metal parts came from Rockler for the handle style openers, and from woodcraft for the bottle (they come as a 2 pack). The last time I was at Rockler last month, they didn’t have any of the kits left, and said they likely won’t have any until February, as the FDA decided they need to be approved/certified/whatever they do lol

These bottle openers are beautifully done.
