These Trinket Boxes were made using an Incra Positioner to achieve the double double dovetails. Walnut and what I think is Hickory were used from repurposed damaged cabinet doors. It turned out with a Southwestern look that I didn’t anticipate. The 2 little dust devils on the front of one of the boxes add a different touch. The sides are sequenced so that you can follow the grain pattern all the way around the box. The hinges are walnut also. They were wet sanded from 220 grit to a 2000 grit using Watco Danish Oil.
Thanks for looking.

I cannot say enough about what can be achieved with Incra products, I have a Positioner on my table saw and a stand alone router. Perry McDaniel’s Incra project book gives great details on how to build some beautiful joinery.
Thank you all for the compliments. I have gained a lot of info and ideas from LJ’s like y’all.

These are great looking. You should think about joining the upcoming swap. The subject is boxes this time around.

I’m not familiar with the box swap, but if it involves exchanging boxes I can’t do it, these boxes were made as a gift and a birthday present, they were given away this afternoon.
