We live in a log home and over the years I have carved most of the wood wall plates. Now I have some requests to make some for others. Here are just a few….............................Being the Christmas season and some of you might be struggling with gift ideas, here you go. I get my blanks from EBAY. Making my own was not worth the time and I never found the metal backings needed to make them UL approved. Doug

Nice work Doug! They are much better looking than the plastic ones that came with our house.
Did you do the artwork on them?

I like this idea!
I never thought about wooden wall covers, I usually cover them with matching wall paper or the room paint to match!
Your wooden ones open another avenue, nice work.

It’s actualy very good and beautiful idea for that purpose – not only for log home.
