The box is made of spalted maple and walnut. I put walnut on top of maple for the handles. And Used red flock for the bottom. The deviders are walnut. the box is the first box that I did with mitered corners. I finished it with wipe on poly. I like to leave wood unstained, with just a finish that lets the grain pop.j I edged the walnut lids with strips of the maple also.

Thanks for looking:

Tim,

This is a good looking box, I really like the spalted maple! However the combo of Walnut and SM look outstanding! Great Job!!

I just noticed I didn’t get all of the flock off of one of the deviders. Oh well I get it sanded when I get it back in the shop.
