Nice pen and great finish. Your grandmother will cherish this!
What prep do you use before applying the CA finish and then what is your technique in putting on the finish? I just started making pens and use sealer (cellulose then EEE) and then friction polish… followed by Renaissance wax.

I sand to 600 then apply multiple coats of CA. then wet sand from 600 to 12,000 grit. Then one step friction polish.
