I got frustrated by the fact that my business cards are laying loose all over my camera bag. I decided I needed a card case but why not make one out of wood. I had some scrap walnut and maple in the shop. In no time I had this new card case which works perfectly. Now the only problem is that everyone I know wants one!

Me too, even though I don’t have any cards, should get some though, I don’t do woodwork as a business but would be handy to give out when someone wanted phone number etc. Well done and very nice.

Great work. Sometimes those small projects are really satisfying. If you don’t mine me asking, what were the finished dimensions of the holder? Cool idea! Thanks for sharing.

Are there any moving parts?
I like your too, almost as much as mine!
The face window is a nice touch.

No moving parts. The case is narrow enough that the cards won’t fall out but using the window your thumb effortlessly pushes out a card.
