White Ash and goncalo alves. I found the white ash on the side of the road. I guess it fell off a lumber truck. There were 2 pieces that were 4/4×10” by about 10 feet long laying in different spots along the route I take to work. Score! Used scrap goncalo alves to add some pep to the relatively boring ash. It’s not as think as I’d like it to be but it didn’t cost me hardly anything to make. So I’m happy with it and my wife likes it too.

That looks great. The colors and grain of the wood really work well together.

I like it too.
And the light dawns on an easier way to make endgrain CBs.
Thanks for posting.

I like that. The intermittent contrast wood gives it a nice basket weave look.

I like this cutting board and the pattern is very nice.
