scrap piece of 4×4 pine from building the lathe bench turned into a fun little stubby fat bat. first pic is with 36 cents for size comparison. see lathe review at

finished with shellawax burnished on the lathe and then johnsons paste wax for a quick hand buff

I don’t do it often, but every time i turn something I love it more.
