This is my version of Chris Marshall’s folding outfeed table – original here: http://www.rockler.com/how-to/building-outfeed-table-mount-table-stand-support/

Mine is a few inches shorter, to fit my saw, and narrower, because I had some material leftover fr another project.

Marshall used laminate and contact cement. I skipped that and used sheets of dry erase board – these are available at HD and are laminated on MDF. So I glued those on either side of my MDF core. I’m going to frame some offcuts and hang them so I have somewhere to make notes about dimensions to cut and so forth.

I beefed up a few key parts with floating tenons, where the original has screws and glue only.

I’m very happy with the result. My first rip was to make the jig for routing the miter slots. Works great!

It’s a very nice table and will be a great addition to your shop.
