This live edge walnut and steel table shows the direction I am currently going I have been a metal sculptor since I graduated from art school. I took furniture design in school and loved it. I love combining my steel and forging skills with my furniture. Here are some new pics of my first piece I put up on LJ.

A wonderful piece Donald. As a rule I don’t care much for metal bases on furniture, but I do really love this one. I think all elements in this table work exceptionally well with each other, besides being so unique. A warm welcome to LJ.

Welcome to LJ’s. I too enjoy mixed media projects. I’m just starting into blacksmithing to complement woodworking. Projects like this help keep me on track to set up the smithing area of the shop.

Nice combo, wood and steel. Wood colours and contrasts are awesome.
