This has been an ongoing project for me for some time now. I have needed shelves in my office for years and my wife has been very patient with me.

They are made from White oak, with the center 2 shelves being adjustable. Dimensions are 11×37 3/4×41, I made a production of 4 cases.

That’s the thing that spawned the purchase of the Jet 16/32 drum sander. I had to glue up many panels, as a result much sanding required. More than my rigid orbital sander could manage. I have wanted a drum sander for years, found a great deal on Craigslist, boom project finished.

Now the hard part starts, organization of my office, not as much fun as building them I am certain.

-- Change begins somewhere may as well be with me.

They look great James. There’s nothing better than a project that requires the purchase of a new tool or two!

Nicely done. They will last for decades, even longer than it took to actually get them made!
