Clay,

Nice simple design and the color is magnificent! Where did you get the hardware (and did you like it)?

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks guys.

Mike, I ordered the hardware from Amazon, it was fine for my liking and easy enough to install. The one I got is from Smartstandard.

I’ve used the same hardware on 3 doors so far. It’s pretty good quality. You have to make sure your doors are within the proper thickness or you’ll have to shim with washers or something else.

I noticed you hung these doors on what looks like the inside of your office (assuming those bookshelves are in your office). I plan to hang double-doors for my office as well, and I was wondering why you chose to do it that way. Is it because of space limitations on the other side of the wall?

It’s a VERY created solution I really need to consider.

Bookcases are on the outside of the office in a family room area, so the back of the door is showing from inside the office. I wouldn’t have wanted the front of these doors in the office, as most people won’t go in there but would see from the family room side. We could’ve went with a standard door but wanted to try barn doors, the wife seems happy with it.
