Project Information

OK,

This is the biggest work horse in the shop…. The 4' x 6' outfeed work bench. The right side has storage for all my power tools, the front is a little bonus for the nailers, the left side is the Routertable and accessories. and of course the front is the table saw.

The table/bench is basic 2×4 and 3/4 ply construction. some day I will build a more refined version. But it does the job for now.

Only thing Im missing right now is a Duct Collector and a Bandsaw. Still trying to talk the Wife into it. Wish me luck.

Again thanks for looking.

Maybe if you make her something really nice then she will cave into getting a bandsaw. For the dust collector you could rationalize the health and safety aspects of breathing saw dust.

Nice shop too. That table is really cool.

Yeah I have her talked into the Dust Collector. Just gotta save some money and go get it. As for the band saw I think I will have to make her Bedroom set that I promised her when she said I could buy all the tools after my last deployment to Afgahnistan….. I keep telling her I have to practice all the techniques before I lay into making the real one out of maple and cherry. Dont want to waste all that money…..

Hey Chuck , we share similar set-ups with tablesaw/outfeed stations and I hope You enjoy Yours as much as I do mine. I installed My router table in the back section of the outfeed table and it has worked great for My needs so far.Like yours, the much needed storage space underneath is a welcomed addition to shop and I am sure You will make good use of that !Anyway nice looking job on Your shop upgrade and good luck with the potential tool upgrade as well ! Stay safe.

Keep working on the new tools! If you want to do any resawing a bandsaw is a must. Dust collection to me is optional but nice to have. Good looking shop and way too clean! Needs some dust and chips. Later, BTKS

Usually there is a boat load of saw dust and chips laying around all over everything. But, had to get busy on finishing my last two projects. I will post the other on here after I give to my Dad (late Fathers Day gift). Thanks for all the comments.
