This is a good looking bottle opener.

Thanks, There’s magnets drilled into the back to catch the bottle caps too.

Notice in the picture, the center whole that contains the magnet. I just used hot glue to hold the magnet in place. I used these magnets https://www.amazon.com/DIYMAG-Powerful-Neodymium-Permanent-Scientific/dp/B06XD2X45M/ref=sr_1_2?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1511617164&sr=1-2&keywords=diymag
I used a Forstner bit (one bigger than the magnet) to drill out the hole to fit the magnet and only deep enough so that I do not breech the other side with the point of the drill bit. Experiment on a scrap wood first. The other hole, was a failure, I tried to use a hodge podge of magnets from around the house. That’s didn’t work out so well. Notice the 2 key hole slots on the left and right. The one in the center is a mistake, it’s upside down, lol. Thankfully this is the back of the project, no big deal, lol.

Have your say...
